EARLEuropean Nuclear Medicine Guide
Background
In 2016, the incumbent EANM Presidents and the European Union of Medical Specialists/European Board of Nuclear Medicine (UEMS/EBNM) initiated a project to develop a comprehensive and concise guide for nuclear medicine practice. This essential handbook, created by and for the Nuclear Medicine community, was eventually launched in October 2018.
In 2020, the guide was extensively revised and expanded with new chapters to further enhance its value.
The UEMS/EBNM’s Training Requirements for the Specialty of Nuclear Medicine (last updated in April 2017) served as the backbone of this document, ensuring it remains highly relevant to current standards.
The European Nuclear Medicine Guide offers a thorough overview of a wide variety of topics related to nuclear medicine for professionals in the field, including:

- In vivo imaging with radiopharmaceuticals
