Whether you are an experienced professional or just starting your career, there are various ways to get involved:

EANM Committees

  • Join one of our Committees and contribute to the scientific pillars of our association by developing publications, the scientific programme of our Annual Congress, educational activities, and other initiatives.

The EANM is seeking new members!

EANM Ethics Council

The EANM Ethics Council is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual who is enthusiastic about nuclear medicine and committed to addressing ethical issues in the field. Proficiency in English is essential, and prior experience with EANM Committees and/or Councils would be an advantage.

The position begins on January 1, 2025, and requires participation in 4 scheduled meetings per year (3 online and 1 in-person at the Annual Congress) to discuss Council matters, including the annual review of Members’ Declarations of Interest.

Only  members who are in good standing according to the EANM Statutes §6.6 with settled EANM membership for the current year and residing in countries represented in the EANM Delegates’ Assembly are eligible to become Council Members.

EANM Policy & Regulatory Affairs Council (PRAC)

The EANM’s PRAC is seeking motivated and dedicated new members to join our dynamic team by early 2025.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of nuclear medicine at the EU level. Established in 2022, PRAC coordinates and implements the EANM’s policy activities at the EU level, aligning with the EANM’s strategy and mission. This is achieved through ongoing dialogue with EU policymakers and stakeholders, actively supporting the advancement of nuclear medicine.

Knowledge and skills:

• Expertise in Nuclear Cardiology or Health Economics.
• Interest in EU policy and regulatory affairs or interest in health policy and legislation.
• Understanding of the EANM’s mission, strategy, and advocacy priorities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to be able to engage with policymakers and stakeholders.
• While this is not a requirement, we highly value candidates who can bring a unique perspective, such as representing underrepresented fields or geographic regions.

Commitment and availability:

• Ability to attend monthly meetings and actively contribute to discussions.
• Willingness to dedicate time for preparatory work and follow-up actions.
• Commitment to supporting the EANM’s policy activities and overall mission (including representing the EANM at policy events if needed).
