Make a meaningful contribution to Nuclear Medicine and apply for one of the open positions:
The EANM Oncology & Theranostics Committee is seeking new members to strengthen its mission in advancing oncologic imaging and radionuclide therapy.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for motivated nuclear medicine physicians with expertise and strong dedication to diagnostic oncologic imaging and/or radionuclide therapy.
Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
- Neuroendocrine tumors: In-depth knowledge of both established and emerging imaging and therapeutic approaches
- Breast cancer: Expertise in established and innovative imaging and therapy strategies
- Selective Internal Radiation Therapy (SIRT): Proven experience with SIRT applications
- Teamwork & Education: Enthusiasm for collaboration, education, and contribution to guideline development
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively are encouraged.
New members will contribute to:
- Coordination and communication within the Committee
- Supporting collaboration between Committees, the EANM Office, and the EANM Board
- Organising and supporting Committee activities
The roles within a Committee involve regular online meetings, preparatory work, and approximately 2–3 days of travel 1–2 times per year.

The EANM Physics Committee is seeking a new member to strengthen its mission of advancing physics, instrumentation, and innovation in nuclear medicine.
Candidate Requirement
Motivated nuclear medicine physicists with clinical and academic backgrounds and expertise in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply:
- Clinical and research experience with novel detector technologies and imaging instrumentation
- Preclinical research, including animal imaging, quantitative methods, validation, and clinical translation supporting nuclear medicine theranostics
- Regulatory frameworks relevant to nuclear medicine (e.g. MDR)
- Contributions to teaching, education, or professional societies
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clinicians, technologists, and scientists
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively are encouraged.
New members will contribute to:
- Planning scientific sessions for the annual EANM Congress
- Developing procedural and clinical guidelines
- Teaching through ESMIT
The roles within a Committee involve regular online meetings, preparatory work, and approximately 2–3 days of travel 1–2 times per year.
