In just 12 pages, the publication provides a clear overview of what nuclear medicine is, what makes it unique, and how it contributes to more personalised approaches to patient care. It is designed as an entry point for readers without a medical background, including policymakers, patient organisations, journalists and the wider public.

The position paper also reflects EANM’s wider work across education, research, clinical guidance and policy engagement.
