In some episodes, Uptake will also complement The EANM Journal and EANM Innovation, offering authors and researchers a new platform to discuss their work, share insights, and take listeners behind the scenes of their research.
How often can I listen?
A new episode of Uptake will be released every month starting from September 2026, bringing you a new topic, new guests, and fresh perspectives from across the nuclear medicine community.

Dr. Mariana Andrade, nuclear medicine physician at the Grand Hôpital de Charleroi (Belgium), is the voice of EANM’s podcast, Uptake.
Mariana brings several years of experience as Head of Department of a multiple- institution-shared PET/CT imaging center, and has served on the Board of the Belgian Society of Nuclear Medicine (BELNUC) since 2023. She has also contributed to several EANM projects, and is now taking on a new role as host of Uptake. In each episode, Mariana will sit down with leading experts to explore the latest developments and hottest topics in the field. |
