Nuclear medicine professionals across Europe are facing shared challenges—regulatory complexity, workforce shortages, and uneven access to innovative diagnostics and therapies. EANM is committed to ensuring these realities are reflected in EU-level policymaking. This one-hour workshop is your invitation to be part of that mission!

Objectives:

This hands-on workshop will introduce you to the power of evidence-informed policymaking. Adapted specifically for the nuclear medicine context, the session is designed to help you translate your clinical experience and research into policy impact.

Format:

Held in person during the EANM’25 in Barcelona, this interactive workshop will offer a rare opportunity to connect, collaborate, and exchange ideas directly with peers and experts from across Europe.

The face-to-face format allows for deeper engagement, more dynamic discussion, and real-time feedback—ensuring you get the most out of this highly practical and inspiring session.

 

Target audience:

This workshop is particularly relevant for professionals who already engage in policy discussions at the national level—within ministries, societies, or regulatory bodies—and are looking to deepen their understanding of European-level policymaking.

Expected outcomes:

Participants will gain:

  • A deeper understanding of how EU policy shapes access to nuclear medicine services, research funding, and professional training
